How can I whitelist IPs?

You can quickly whitelist IP addresses through the Oxylabs dashboard or, in the case of Dedicated Datacenter Proxies, via RESTful.

Make sure to provide up to 10 IP addresses that are in IPv4 format (xx.xx.xx.xx), and ensure the IPs belong to you and not a proxy or VPN service.

🛠️ Currently, the SOCKS5 protocol doesn’t support whitelisted IPs, except for Enterprise Dedicated Datacenter Proxies, where customers can request IP whitelisting.

Residential Proxies

On the left-side menu of the dashboard, under My Products, select Residential ProxiesWhitelistEdit whitelist. Find more details in our documentation.

Mobile Proxies

On the left-side menu, under My Products, select Mobile ProxiesWhitelistEdit whitelist. Refer to the documentation for more information.

Dedicated Datacenter Proxies

Enterprise

On the left-side menu of the dashboard, under My Products, select Dedicated Datacenter ProxiesWhitelistEdit whitelist. See our documentation to learn more.

You may also whitelist IPs by sending requests to our endpoints via RESTful. Visit this RESTful page on our documentation to find out more.

If you want to whitelist IPs when using Proxy Rotator or SOCKS5 protocol, you must contact your Dedicated Account Manager or our Customer Support so they can add your IPs to firewall exception rules.

Self-Service

On the left-side menu of the dashboard, under My Products, select Dedicated Datacenter ProxiesWhitelistEdit whitelist. Refer to our documentation for more details.

Datacenter Proxies per IP

To authenticate your IPs, create an IP whitelist on the dashboard. Follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your account on the Oxylabs dashboard.

  2. Navigate to Datacenter Proxies → Whitelist → Edit whitelist.

You can add up to 10 IPs in IPv4 format (xx.xx.xx.xx).

When adding an IP address to the whitelist, ensure it is exclusively yours and avoid using connections through Proxy or VPN services.

For users of services like Amazon Web Services (AWS), we strongly recommend using username and password authentication instead of relying only on IP whitelisting.
